Is there a way to tell if a movie torrent is fake before actually going through the time and security risk of downloading. It seems like all the movies I have downloaded are fakes. Thanks.
Avoid torrents that have mis-spelled titles. They tend to be made by fakers. They are making the torrents so quickly that they don't notice or care that it was spelled wrong. But legitimate uploaders take the time to make sure the titles of their torrents are spelled correctly and contain the proper words.

Well, believe it or not they get paid by the "evil empire" to make the fakes! It's all part of the Evil Empire's plan to discourage us from using Bittorrent.

Could be the work of the evil empire(like Glammy said) and idiots who get a kick out of causing havoc with your computer such has installing trojan that will make your machine explode.
